Hi! Todays card is a Christmas Card! I guess I will be sharing mostly Holiday cards on the blog for a while!
På det här kortet har jag gjort bakgrundspapperet av tre sorters olika remsor. Perfekt att använda spillbitar och "rester". Istället för att använda ett mönstrat papper blir det ofta lite roligare att göra ett lapptäcke istället. Jag började med att göra mitt bakgrundsark och utifrån de färgerna bestämde jag hur jag skulle färglägga mitt motiv.
For this card I have made my backing paper out of three different strips of patterned papers. Perfect to get those scrap pieces to use. I like to use this technique instead of using just one patterned paper, I think it´s more fun to make a "quilt" of scraps instead. Often I color my image first, but this time I let the backingpaper decide what colors I should use when coloring the image.

Nu fick jag chansen att prova mina nya kunskaper från Copickursen på riktigt, och jag tycker att det är stor skillnad mot innan! Jag ser verkligen fram emot att gå kurs nr 2.
Now I got to try my new coloring technique tips from the Copic class I took a while ago! I think there is a big difference compared to before I took the class. I really look forward to taking class no 2.
Stämplarna från Moonlight Whisper är väldigt tacksamma att färglägga då de oftast har ganska stora hår och ansikten och är roliga att färglägga!
I really like the images from Moonlight Whisper as they often got big hair and faces and are fun to color!
