Hello!

Day four of the Online Card Classes Merry Making! Today was all about Die cutting, and again I did not have any of the items required to make the cards showcased in class. But I was so inspired by Nichole´s card and this is my take on it!

At first I thought to myself that I wouldn´t be able to participate this day either, but then I started to think...I do have reindeer stamps and trees, I can make slopes using my border dies, a background with falling snow and a moon is easy to make using distress inks and a circle die! Well, no die cutting except for the slopes and the moon, but I am so happy with how this card turned out anyway!

The reindeer stamps and the trees are from the "Let´s prance" and the "On thin ice" sets from Clearly Besotted, colored with Copic markers!

The background is made using Distress inks in colors Tumbled Glass, Broken China, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire, this is the combo I usually use for winter skies! To make the falling snow, I dabbed a wet brush over my Distress inked panel in order to create some droplets. On top of the droplets I used the "Falling snow" stencil from Simon Says Stamp, Versa Mark Ink and white embossing powder from Ranger and heat embossed it with my heat tool!

Last week I signed up for a Christmas Card Swap over at Kit and Clowder, I have
decided that I am going to send this card to my "Christmas Card Swap Friend"!
I am about to start making my Christmas Cards for this year, and I will be making a few extra, if you would like a chance to recieve a Christmas card from me, please e-mail me your adress! I will pick five persons randomly, internationals welcome!
Thank you for stopping by!
