Hello!

I have two birthday cards to share today, made using one
of the adorable cats from Basik & Co, and Scrapberry´s!

One is pink/orange and the other one is green/turquoise! 

These cats are just so much fun to color, and great size,
just "lagom", the Swedish word for not too much or too little,
not too big or too small...just "lagom"!

Images were colored with Copic markers.

Sentiment (hooray, hooray, horray) from Gummiapan!

Soon to be listed in my Shop here on the blog!

Hello there!

I had to give the under water scene a try as I´ve seen
so many beautiful cards on Instagram lately.
And I even managed to make a card as I had a cute mermaid to go with it!

For my under water coloring I used Distress Inks in three different
shades of blue, Tumled Glass, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire. 

To create the sun rays I used the "Sun Ray" stencil from MFT.
A lot of ink blending and some droplets of water later this was the result! 

The cute mermaid "Arianna" is an older stamp (unfortunately
discontinued) from Kraftin´ Kimmie Stamps.

She was colored with Copic markers and I added a few coats
of Wink of Stella in clear, to her hair and her tail to make her glimmer!

Hi there!

As you may have noticed, the "Party Animals" set from
Mama Elephant is being used quite frequently over here in my craft room!
(More cards to come!)

This card required some masking, but I really like it when you 
chose where the bunnies will appear... in front or behind the other ones...
how the chickens are placed... depending on which one you stamp first. 

Scenes like this takes a bit of planning
(and masking paper!)  in order to get the result you want!

Hello crafty friends!

During this last 30 Day Coloring Challenge, sweet Patricia
colored and posted an ATC card every day! The first person to say
"I want it", got it! In return that person had to make an ATC and send to Patricia! 

Such a great idea!
Day 8 of the challenge I was the first person to say "I want it" and shortly
after I recieved an adorable ATC with the cutest of fairies
and a beautiful flower! Together with the ATC Patricia sent
a super cute card!

I decided to make a card that matched my ATC and to
send them in a matching envelope...

Below is my very first ATC...

...not that much of a difference to making a tag, both are tiny in size!

I used the same kittens on the card as on the ATC!

The images were colored with Copic markers and the background
was colored with Distress Inks, Tumbled glass and Moved lawn.

On the envelope I stamped two little kittens,
I added some washi tape right under the kittens (but forgot
to take a picture), and it looked sooo cute!

Hi there!

I have made a set of thank you and congrats cards using some
of the sweet bunnies from the "Hippity Hop" set from Mama Elephant! 

I have used the same layout for all four cards,
all of them matted onto black cardstock, as a thin frame.

Two sets of bunnies were colored grey and the other
two were colored brown! There is a slight difference
of the way I have used the patterned papers. 

The sentiment stamps are from Gummiapan. 

The sky and grass were colored using Distress inks,
Tumbled glass and Mowed Lawn.

The bunnies were colored with Copic markers.

Hello there!

Today´s card was made using one of the cute
critters from the "Just sayin´" set from Hello Bluebird!

This stamp set is so much fun and versatile and
can be used for soooo many different occasions as
there are 30+ words to chose from!

Loving these warm grey Copics!

The warm grey Copics are almost brown-ish and
gives the images a warm, soft look.

Copics used on this bunny were: W 7-5-3-2 and 1.

Hello!

I was celebrating my crafty friend Ellenor´s birthday, a few weeks ago, 
(@e_emilsson is her name on Instagram, head over and
follow her if you don´t already do, she makes the cutest and most often CAS cards!)

I coordinated the card, the gift tag (from day 2 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge)
and I even stamped and colored a little chicken and a balloon on the envelope!
I also made a bookmark for the book I had purchased for her!
This was sooo much fun and everything turned out so pretty together!

The cute little bunnies and chicken are from the 
"Party animals" set from Mama Elephant!

I laminated the bookmark, I first tried to heat laminate it but that 
didn´t work, I then tried to cold laminate and that worked better
(yes, I did stamp and color two bookmarks as my first attempt didn´t work!)
but I am not super happy about he result, in order for the lamination
film to stay sealed together I had to cut the edges quite wide. 

This was the first time I stamped and colored on an envelope 
and I wasn´t sure how the Copics would work on this 
kind of paper, but it turned out ok!

Hello there!

I needed two cards, a thank you and a just because card
and decided to make two identical ones, the only things to set
them apart were the sentiments and the use of the colors.

As I am in summer and vacation mode I decided to ink up
Uptown Girls Sandy (has a sombrero) from Stampingbella!

I just loooove this skinny character Sandy with the
gigant sombrero and a yummy drink in her hand!

I did use the same color combinations on both cards,
pink, orange and yellow but in different ways!

One card turned out more pink with yellow/orange details
and the other card turned out more yellow/orange with pink details!

They were colored with Copic markers!

Hi crafty friends!

I´m back to card making after a month of coloring almost tags only!

Only a few cards were made during Kathy´s
30 Day Coloring Challenge! This is one of them!

A friend I met through Instagram and I have our
very own Card Making Challenge!

This is so much fun, making these special cards for each other as
we both know just how appreciated they are!

This time our theme is flowers, any colors!
The stamp I have used is a background stamp, from Hero Arts, "Large Flower".
As it is a background stamp I did a lot of fussy cutting and glueing
to get the flowers placed where I wanted them!

I have colored them with Copic markers and a white gel pen!

who puts a tremendous amount of work and commitment to make it all work. 
Not only is she commenting on so many of the Instagram posts and that
makes it extra special of course, to have been spotted by Kathy,
she is posting her own coloring projects daily,
and you can feel her heart and soul through every day of the challenge!

This was her 10th 30 Day Coloring Challenge!!!

If you haven´t particiated in this challenge before,
and are somewhat interested I suggest you give it a try next time!
You don´t have to participate each and every day, no one is keeping tracks,
you can jump in and out as you wish! 
It´s all about you carving out some much needed "me time", just to color!
