Panda Party!

2019-06-27 16:07 | 0 kommentarer

Hello there!

Today I share my second card that I made for
Isabel Cristina using the "Panda Party" set!

2019-06-27:1

These pandas are so adorable and were so much fun to work with!

image 0

There are a lot of pandas coming with this digi
stamp set
, as well as presents, gift bags,
party hats, star balloons and sentiments!

2019-06-27:2

I printed the images out, colored them
and cut them out with my Scan n Cut.

2019-06-27:4

I colored two pieces of cardstock with Distress inks;
Twisted citron, Evergreen bough and Mermaid lagoon.
I used one of them as the backdrop and the other piece I
die cut in three pieces using a stitched rectangle die,
I then adhered the three pandas to the three die cut pieces!

Bridge card!

2019-06-25 22:50 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

The other night I was watching a video by
Jennifer McGuire making bridge cards, I always make
regular A2 or square 6" x 6" cards, but these cards looked
stunning and quite easy to make and I had to give it a try!

Please visit Jennifer´s blog for tips and tricks, where
she shares a couple of different designs and layouts!

2019-06-25:12

As I was having this Curvy Girl from Stampingbella
all colored (with Copics) and cut out, just sitting on my desk waiting
to go on a card I decided to use her for my premiere try!

2019-06-25:9

I choose a pink card base for my bridge card, I cut it to
5 1/2" x 5 1/2" or 14 x14 cm. I used patterned paper and
the colored Curvy Girl, for a quick kind of CAS card.

2019-06-25:8

Because of the way the card base is folded the
finished card stands pretty good on its own.

2019-06-25:11

As this is not a traditional card, where you write your
message inside, you can either write your message on the back
of the card or adhere an extra panel to the back of the card.

2019-06-25:10

The coolest thing about it is that you just slide the card to
one side, and it goes flat and fits perfectly in a size A2 envelope!

my PC,
please see my blog post from a few months ago.

2019-06-23:2

I choose soft, beautiful colors for this card, my favorite
pink Copic combo and beige/light brown!

Wedding card, blue /gold!

2019-06-20 13:35 | 0 kommentarer

Hello crafty friend!

I made a custom order wedding card some time ago and
short after Igot an order for a similar one. This client wanted
blue or green instead of red that I used on the first card.

I combined this beautiful soft blue cardstock with soft sparkly gold!

2019-06-20:2

When I was asked to color a mustache and a beard
on the groom on the first red/black/white card I was quite
nervous to ruin it, this time it wasn´t as nerv wrecking!

2019-06-20:1

I colored the images with Copic markers and the soft
”background” were colored with Distress Inks.

The banner and lettering with the names were hand drawn by me!

please see my blog post from a few months ago.
I colored it with Copic markers and then fussy cut it.

2019-06-18:6

grass, I used a grass die for the grass at the bottom of the panel.

Bella & horse!

Hi there!

Today I share a card I have made using a new digi set
from Isabel Cristina, called "Bella & horse".

2019-06-11:3

You´ll find this set and many, many more in Isabel´s Etsy store!

There are so many images and sentiments coming with this
set, great for making the most adorable cards for horse loving girls!

image 3

Making my card, I layered a couple of images,
to learn how I layer images in a Word document on my PC,
please see my blog post from a few months ago.
Then I printed the image out and colored it with Copic markers.
When colored I cut it out with my Scan n Cut.

2019-06-11:1

The background was made coloring a circle with Distress inks
for the sky, the grass and the ground, I then adhered my image
to it and colored a small portion of the ground as well as the white
areas in the fence with Copics to see the grass through the fence!

Diamonds & gold!

2019-06-09 23:03 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

I was asked to make a special birthday card for a lady
turning 75, requested were the á la mode stamp from MFT
with the little lady holding a huge glass of champagne
(discontinued), leopard print, diamonds and gold!

2019-06-09:5

This card was so much fun to make! I dug deep into my drawers
and boxes and found the beautiful diamond brads that I
placed in the center of the large gold/leopard print flowers.
I had totally forgotten about them andthey were perfect for this occasion!

2019-06-09:3

I did fill in the outlines of the image with a pen, and apparently
I wasn´t too steady on hand when taking the photo´s...
sorry about the poor, blurry, un sharp photo quality, but I wanted
to share this card anyway. And I added grey Copic along the edges
of the image and dotted with the colorless Copic as well, for some depth...

2019-06-09:2

I added golden details, the scallop edges in two of the corners and
the flowers, using a thin golden sparkly glitter paper that die
cut perfectly in my Cuttlebug, (I have other glitter papers that
are just too heavy for the Cuttlebug). For the flowers I used a punch,
I made two layers of petals for each flower, on the larger ones
I curled the golden petals slightly upwards to get a glimpse
of the leopard print ones underneath!

2019-06-09:4

Image was colored with Copics, the letters were die cut,
using the QuicKutz Moxie Classic Unicase Alphabet Die Set.

2019-06-09:1

To finish off the card I sprinkled some sequins
in clear and different brown colors, adhered
them to the card using Glossy accent!

Wishing you love & laughter!

Hello!

Birthday card made using the cute critters from the
"North star" stamp set from Hello Bluebird.

 2019-06-06:1

As they all are looking up, origanally to look at
the stars at New Year´s, I thought they could look at an
orange/yellow sun or moon in the summer instead!
It looks like they are reading the sentiment, right?!!!

2019-06-06:3

Images were colored with Copic markers, background
sky and sun/moon were colored with Distress inks.

2019-06-06:2

The wishing you love & laughter sentiment comes with the
stamp set, the Happy Birthday is from an old (discontinued)
a´la mode stamp set from MFT.

Cutest nurse!

2019-06-02 23:04 | 0 kommentarer

Hi there crafty friends!

This cute "Oddball nurse" from Stampingbella
has been on my wish list for a long time.

2019-06-02:4

Get well cards are great to have on hand so that you quickly can
send a card of encouragement for someone who is sick.
I don´t usually have get well cards ready to get in the mail
and by the time I have made the card and got to the post
office the person is doing great and back to work already!

2019-06-02:1

As I am still in pink mode there was no doubt what color her uniform
would be! And I had to give her some pink eye shadow as well!

2019-06-02:3

I colored her and the blue shadow with Copic markers, the
sentiment, saying Get well in Swedish is from Gummiapan.

2019-06-02:2

I will ink up this cutie and make some cards in
different colors, ready to be sent out if needed!
