I am so excited to be guest Designer with The Flower Challenge
for the month of October, thanks for having me Aileen!
The theme for this month is CAS.
For this card I used the ”Pretty Posies” stamp set by
CAS-UAL Fridays. I love these ”doodle” flowers!
I added some extra dot and lines to some of the
petals, channeling my inner Kathy Raccosin!
Michele from CAS-UAL Fridays was very kind and
gave us all some of her stamps to use on our cards!
I wanted to add something more, just a little detail
even though I know CAS means lots of white space and I
decided to splash some droplets of liquid watercolor to my
stitched, die cut panel. The orange color is ”Mimosa” by Avery Elle.
I colored the flower and the leaves with Copic markers,
cutting the pieces out with my Scan N Cut and adhered them on
to the panel using double sided tape. To finish my card I
stamped the sentiment at the top of the panel.
