Thinking of you!

Hi there crafty friend!

Today I share the last card for 2019!
A while ago I was the lucky winner of Sue´s Instagram
give away! A few days later I received a big package of
retired/retiring stamps and dies from Whimsy Stamps

The stamp that first caught my eyes was this cutie!
Although I was busy making Christmas cards I just had
to ink and color her up that same day. And now she has
finally made it to a card! She will be perfect
for practicing coloring skin and hair!

I colored her with Copic markers and fussy cut the image.
I usually use my Scan n Cut, but when I don´t want a white
border I usually fussy cut, even though you can program
the machine to cut on the stamped outline.

I ink blended Distress Oxide inks, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry
and Spiced Marmalade for the background panel.
The sentiment stamp is from the "Fancy sayings"
set by Clearly Besotted, I love how they mix the fonts.

Happy new year and thank you for stopping by!

Jingle bells!

Today I share my last Christmas cards for 2019!

I have used the same two stamp sets, "Sing it´s Christmas"
and "Picture it Christmas"  by Clearly Besotted for both cards,
but used different sentiments, from the "Sing it´s Christmas" set.

The images were colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut the
mountain tops and the tree outlines, and mounted the
panels on to Distress ink blended background panels.

I heat embossed the sentiments using white embossing
powder to make them shiny and pop against the blue skies!

Glossy accents, a white gel pen and Stickles
were used to add some finishing details!

Merry Christmas and thank you for stopping by today!

Hello there!

I have made several Christmas cards this season
using the adorable "Curvy Girl with bubbly" from Stampingbella.

I have changed the design, the colors, the coloring on her
dress for the different cards. Here are just a few!

I have colored her with Copic markers.
I added some white gel pen to the details of the berries in her
hair and to the bow on the one with the black-ish dress.
I applied some Stickles to the bubbly in the glass!

The panels on the left hand side were made heat
embossing snow flakes in different colors and then the panels
were colored with Distress ink and Distress ink oxides.
It was a bit time consuming but I love how the snow flakes turned out!

Above is my new favorite color combo, light pink and warm grey!

The zig zag technique I used when coloring the dresses
works really well for this type of shape of dress.

I still have a few more Christmas cards to
share, but today´s card is a birthday card!

For this card I used "Curvy Girl eats cake" from Stampingbella.
The banner stamp, "Small line of pennants", is from Gummiapan

The images were colored with Copic markers and the
background was colored with Distress inks and Distress Oxide inks.
Droplets of water were splashed to the background and some
Stickles was applied to the caramel frosting on the cake!

Sentiment stamp is from the "Delightful greetings" set by Paper Smooches.

Chrystal says Merry Christmas!

All my Christmas cards has been sent with a few
exceptions, and the last ones will be in the mail by Monday!
Hopefully arriving at their recipients before Christmas!

I have a few more Holiday cards to share before its
all about birthday and just because cards again!

This card was made using the Uptown girl
"Chrystal´s Christmas label", from Stampingbella.

But without the label! I have cut the rubber stamp
in two, and it will be easy to put together when I
want to use the label part too. That would be
perfect for envelopes! But I knew when I purcased this
stamp that I wanted to use Chrystal only most of the time!

The die cut frame is the "Gallery Frame #2 die" by Hello Bluebird.
The sentiment stamp (saying Merry Christmas and Happy New Year)
is by Gummiapan. The image was colored with Copics markers.

 Thanks for stopping by today!

Silent night!

Hello crafty friends!

Today I share a card made with stamps from Clearly Besotted!
It was a bit difficult to take good photos as the pink shiny
cardstock reflected the light, sorry about that! It is a lot more light in person!

I have used two stamp sets for this scene, the little choir
is from the "Sing, it´s Christmas" set and the tree and the landscape
scene is a convenient all-in-one stamp called "Picture it Christmas".

I have seen so many beautiful no-line coloring
cards lately and it was so long ago I gave it try!

I stamped the images using a grey ink, perfect and barely there!
I colored the images with Copic markers. The pink sky was ink blended
Distress Oxide inks, Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Wilted Violet.
I splashed some water to the panel for a blurry snow effect!

I used a stitched die for my image/scenery panel, fussy cut the
tree and the mountain tops, adhered it to a piece of funny foam
and used double sided tape to mount it to the pink sky panel!

I purchased this pink shiny card stock a while ago, and
I have been waiting for the perfect card to use it with!
The package contained only 5 sheets so in order to stretch this
beautiful paper I adhered a panel to the front of my white card base!

Of course I had to apply some Stickles to get that icy, snow look!

A merry little Christmas!

Hi there!

I made another slim card using the "Christmas is coming"
set by Hello Bluebird. This card was made with a pale
blue sky, compared to the other more dramatic orange/pink/purple
sky I posted a few days ago. For this card I also used a banner
stamp, "Small line of pennants", from Gummiapan.

Ok, this is my all time favorite stamp set for Christmas cards!

The critters were colored with Copic markers and the sky was
blended with Distress Inks, Tumbled Glass, Broken China
and Salty Ocean. I finished the sky off with some droplets of water!

Some Stickles was applied to get that wintery, frosty feeling!

Pink bellied penguins!

I was to make a penguin Christmas cards
for a dear friend of mine! And as I am still
crazy about pink, it had to be pink!

I have used two sets of stamps for this card,
the penguins are from the "Arctic penguins"
set by Mama Elephant and the Christmas tree, the
houses and mountains is an all-in-one stamp called
"Picture it Christmas" by Clearly Besotted.

For the pink sky I blended Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry
Distress Oxide inks, I added some droplets of water to look
like falling snow. The images were colored with Copic markers.
I cut the landscape scene out using my Scan n Cut,
adhered it to the pink sky panel. The little icy lake from the
penguin set was adhered with Double sided tape and the
penguins were adhered with foam dots for some dimension!

Some Stickles were added to the roof tops of the houses
and to the mountains and the snow for some cold, glistening frost!
I also applied drops of Glossy accents to the
light bulbs and the star on the tree!
