Lots of Valentine kittens!

2018-01-18 13:20 | 0 kommentarer

So many kittens to go on this card!
I colored everyone of the little cats in different shades of grey, using
Copic markers, but let all their balloons be the same pink!

As I don´t have a stamp saying Happy Valentine´s day,
I printed the sentiment on to the card stock, the font is called Noteworthy.

I let one cat be in focus on the banner, peeking out from behind!
I tried both white and black card stock behind her and finally
decided to go with black as it made her pop!

Sometimes I find it difficult to find card stock in the right shade of color for matting,
when you just want that little glimpse of color along the edges of your project.
I then take a piece of white card stock, and just color in the outer edge of it with
a Copic marker.

Valentine kitties!

This little cat from the "Little Cat Agenda" set from Mama
Elephant is perfect when making Valentine cards!

There are twenty cats to chose from in this set but I only used one!
I colored them all grey but a little different from each other!
They are colored with Copic markers.

The post-it note is from the "Sticky Notes" set, also from Mama Elephant.

The background is very simple, just Distress Inks, Tumbled Glass and Moved Lawn.

I have also added a coat of Glossy Accents to all the hearts! As I don´t have
many Valentine stamps or sentiments for this ocassion,
I printed the sentiment on the cardstock (before stamping the post-it note), using
the font Noteworthy.

Prepared for the next 30 Day coloring Challenge!

2018-01-14 23:19 | 0 kommentarer

It is time for the next "30 day coloring challenge", hosted by lovely Kathy!

It starts tomorrow and I am so prepared!

This time I am going to color tags!

I have die cut tags in different sizes and shapes, and stamped them.
So I am ready to just pick and chose from day to day! I guess I won´t have
time to complete them at once, so I will just focus on coloring them!

Thank you for stopping by!

Another envelope/ticket holder!

2018-01-08 14:12 | 0 kommentarer

I made another envelope/ticket holder as part of a birthday gift last week.
I think this map design is so fun and also know its highly appreciated by the reciever as they soon realize that they are going somewhere displayed on the map!

For this one I used some of the cute hedgehog stamps from the
"Every Which Way" set from Penny Black!

This was also to be given to a man as was the red and black I made a few weeks ago and I decided to go for a color combination of green and turquoise and the black/white twine. Love that twine, as it goes with everything!

The row of hedgehogs are fussy cut and glued on to
the card stock! The hedgehogs are colored with Copic markers!
The "Moxie" alphabet letters are from QuicKutz.

The inside is very simple, the card stock is folded and glued on the sides, using double sided tape!

Thank you for stopping by!

Hello Greg!

Hello and Happy New Year!

This is a card I made for my Instagram friend Aileen´s dad!
Sendig some crafty happiness to Australia to brighten his day!

I wanted this card to feel special to him and right away
before even planning my card design I decided I wanted a
sign with his name on it!

The sign I drew free hand, the hello is a stamp from
Hero arts "Many everyday messages" set
and the letters are from the alphabet die set Moxie from QuicKuts.

I wanted some kind of background for the sign and the little cat gang and went for a circle, this is actually my third attempt and I like the end result as it is kind of subtle and "barely there". For my first circle I was quite heavy on the Distress inks, I splattered some drops of water to it and it ended up looking like a planet and that wasn´t the result I wanted. For attempt two I colored it using pink, teal and Tumled glass and it just felt too weird!

The cats are from two different stamp sets, the ones on the right and left are from the kitten set from Paperie Ink and the middle one is from the BB "Cool Cat" set from My Favorite Things.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Ticket Holder!

2017-12-27 22:52 | 0 kommentarer

I have been thinking about playing along and taking part in a challenge lately, but with the Holidays around the corner I just didn´t focus on it enough, or had enough time. But a few days before Christmas I was asked to make some kind of "Ticket Holder" and I guess that turned out to be my challenge!

Lets see...some kind of ticket holder to be given as a Christmas present to a man... I searched through my stash of stamps and everything felt just too cute for this special occasion. I suddenly wished I had purchased that Lawn Fawn stamp with the airplane! It´s on my wish list now!

I was thinking bold colors and Christmas, for me that would be black and red, a map to where this person is going. In one of my drawers I found these "Travel"cards from Sn@p and now I was getting somewhere, the ideas started to come to me! I printed out the map of the area to where this person is travelling!

Of course there had to be a beautiful red ribbon to tie the whole thing together!
Easy to slide of when opening the card/envelope/ticket holder.

I can´t even remember the last time I made a "card" without using stamps and Copic markers!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello and Happy Holidays!

Decorated match boxes are perfect as small gifts!

This year I have decorated match boxes using the cute reindeer from the "Let´s prance" set
from Clearly Besotted. They are perfect size when creating these small scenes!

I have colored the images with Copic markers, backround is colored
using just a light wash of Distress Ink, Tumbled Glass.

I have added some Stickles to the trees for some glitter and a frosty feel!

Thank you for stopping by today and Merry Christmas!

All my Holiday cards are mailed and it´s time to clean up the mess on my desk in my craft room!
This is my last Christmas card for this year!

For this card I have used the sweet "Winter Penguin" from Lawn Fawn. The stiched border die (set of three) "Landscape Trio" is from Mama Elephant.

The background/falling snow is made using Distress Ink Tumbled glass and the "Falling snow" stencil from Simon Says Stamp. The penguin is colored with Copic markers.

Kitty Choir!

For this card I made a little kitty choir, using "Singing Napoleon" from Magnolia stamps!

The sentiment stamp is from the "Christmas Circular Sentiments" set from
Lily of the Valley. A lovely set with twelve different Holiday sentiments.

The cats are colored with Copic markers and the
background is colored with Distress inks.

Thank you for stopping by!

Cool cat tags!

2017-12-06 23:43 | 0 kommentarer

I use these cool cats often! These tags are a repeat of some tags I made last year,
but with some smaller changes! I love the dramatic effect of the white brick wall against the black and the combination of black and red! And the black and white twine is my favorite go to, as it goes with almost everything!

The kittens are from the "Cool Cat" set from Birdie Brown and My Favorite Things,
they are colored with Copic Markers. I have used a tag die from the "Terrific Tag" die set (six pieces! This is the second largest) from Bo Bunny. The sentiment is from the "On thin ice" set from Clearly Besotted, the little paw print is from the puppy stamp set from Paperie Ink!

The brick wall is made using white ink and the "Small brick wall" stencil also from
My Favorite Things and a sponge dauber!

Thank you for stopping by!

Miss December!

Meet Miss December! A digi stamp from the Thoroughly Modern Misses Collection
from Lily of  the Valley Stamps!

Miss December is colored with Copic markers and the background is colored using Distress Inks. The stars are heat embossed using the "Confetti" stencil from Heidi Swapp, Versamark emboss ink and embossing powder.

I have added Stickles to the wreath and the ribbons on the gift boxes and some
dots of Glossy accent on the red berries on the wreath.

I love the dramatic mix of red and pink on her pants and jacket,
and aren´t her Ugg-ish boots cute!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Prancing reindeer card!

2017-11-29 23:26 | 0 kommentarer

It seems I can´t get enough of these adorable little reindeer!

The reindeer (one out of three) is from the stamp set "Let´s prance" and the trees are
from the set "On thin ice", both sets are from Clearly Besotted! Perfect size on
these small reindeer and very useful for many projects!

The images are colored with Copic markers and the sky is colored
with Distress Ink, Tumbled Glass.

I have added Stickles to the trees (the white areas only) to make them
glisten and  look snowy!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Singing Holiday Kittens!

2017-11-25 19:51 | 0 kommentarer

I had sooo much fun making these tags!

"Singing Napoleon" from Magnolia Stamps is the most adorable Holiday kitten!

Napoleon is colored with Copic markers and the background is
colored using Distress inks.

I have used my new tag die from Gina K, one of four from the "Decorative Tag Set".
I didn´t remove the die when inking the tags with Distress Inks,
as I wanted a white frame on these tags!

I went back and forth about whether to stamp a sentiment or not on the tags
and eventually I decided not to. But I was really tempted to add a "Holy Night..." sentiment, as you can almost hear them sing!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Heffydoodle bear!

Custom order card!

For this card I have been using a free digital stamp from Heffydoodle!
This image was perfect as this card was sent as a "change of adress/I have moved" card.
Where I live our mail boxes are yellow!

Images colored with Copic markers, background colored using Distress Inks and some Stickles were added to the flowers!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Merry Kisses!

2017-11-15 19:18 | 0 kommentarer

This is one of my more non traditional Holiday cards in
terms of color, using an aqua colored card base!

I couldn´t resist these cuddling cuties, sharing the same scarf!

The stamp is "Merry Kisses" from Neat and Tangled,
colored with Copic markers.

A lot of my Holiday cards this year has this Distress inked sky,
I love the smooth result of the ink blending!

The stars are made using the Heidi Swapp "Confetti" stencil, Versafine ink,
embossing powder and they are heat embossed.

Thank you for stopping by today!
