Baby girl!

Hello!

A pink and grey card for a brand new baby girl!

2016-05-23:3

I tried for a cute but not uber cute card for a baby girl. And I wanted the design to be pretty clean & simple too. As the base card is pink and girly, the grey pattern paper muted it a bit.

I have used a bear and a bunny stamp, purchased a long time ago from, if I remember correctly C.C designs. My first idea was to color the bear and the bunny in pink, but they turned out....not ok! So I decided to go for grey instead! A much better choice! I colored the images with Copic markers. And I applied some glitter glue onto their angel wings.

I needed some background and grass, so I masked the image and very carefully and with a light hand, colored it using a mini blending tool and Distress Inks by Ranger. The banner stamp which I use a lot on my cards are from the clear stamp set "Soiree", by Mama Elephant.

Card no 2 for the CASometry Challenge!

Hello!

2016-05-17:2

This is my second card for the CASometry Challenge hosted by Anna Kossakovskaya, and I really like the concept more and more for each and every card I make, what a great idea to make five cards using one stamp set!

2016-05-17:4

I am playing with the clear stamp set "Wonderful", by Penny Black. The hedgehogs are colored with Copic markers and the grass and backgrounds are colored with Distress Inks by Ranger.

I did try an experiment for this card. I made "DIY enamel dots" using Glossy Accents and nail polish! All I did have on hand was this green metallic color but I wanted to try it to see what they would look like and I must say they turned out really well! But I will try a non metallic nail polish next time.

I will also try to use this striped paper on every card in this challenge as well, so far so good!

Card no 1 for CASometry Challenge 2!

2016-05-13 13:55 | 3 kommentarer

Hello!

Today I am sharing a card I made for a fun challenge on Anna Kossakovskaya´s blog!

The main idea of this challenge is to use one stamp set and make five cards.

Here are some of the rules to follow:

* Choose one stamp set you want to play with. You should use it for all cards of this challenge and this stamp should be the main accent of your card. It can be any theme of the set — cute critters, elegant flowers, sentiment, etc.

* There will be five stages — four regular and one Secret Super-Final (I will announce the task for the final later). Every stage will last two weeks.

* No any other rules — just use the same stamp set every time and make CAS cards.

* You can use any other supplies for creating cards. No limits! They of course can be different from one stage to another.

I have choosen to play with the clear stamp set "Wonderful" by Penny Black for this challenge.

I think it´s a great idea to use one set of stamps and make several cards, as I too often use only some of the stamps in a stamp set.

A very clean & simple one layer card, that in itself is a challenge for me!

2016-05-13:2

I have colored the image using Copic markers! The grass and the sky is colored with Distress Inks by Ranger using a mini blending tool. And to add some sparkle I have applied some glitter glue on the tiny flowers!

Penguin shaker card!

2016-05-06 17:06 | 1 kommentarer

Hello!

Wrap up day in Clear & sheer class! I was Inspired by Laura´s card today and tried paste on acetate in combination with a shaker card!

2016-05-06:4

The cute little penguin stamps are from the clear stamp set "Arctic penguins" by Mama Elephant. The flags are from the clear stamp set "Soiree", also by Mama Elephant.

2016-05-06:1

I used white Art screen ink by Heidi Swapp, mixed with distress inks by Ranger in three different hues of aqua/blue on the acetate, and the "Falling snow" stencil by Simon Says Stamp. But I used way to little of the distress inks, as you really can´t tell any difference as I was trying for the ombre effect Laura did on her card.

2016-05-06:3

The art screen ink which I used instead of embossing paste was really shimmery and almost metallic so I got a shimmering snow fall at least! The background sky and water are made using Distress inks and a mini blending tool, by Ranger. The mini stars, hearts and pearls I used for the shaker elements are from Panduro.

2016-05-06:2

I stamped the penguins, the piece of ice and the flags in to on single image, fussy cut and adhered it on the acetate using double sided tape. There was very little coloring on these images, I used only light grey´s, light aqua, orange for the beak and dark aqua for the skates, copic markers.
