Hi there!

Hi there!

Some occasions require florals and not just cute critters,
today I share two cards, a little different from each other but
pretty much a like as I have used the same stamps on both of them.

I have used the "Friendly Florals" stamp set from
Neat & Tangled and the "Greetings" stamp set from Ranger.

No pink this time!!!
I think that both of these cards (colors) are quite
masculine as they aren´t "too cute" and girlie!

I colored the images and the shadows with Copic markers.

I added tiny drops of Stickles to the some of the buds and
to the center of the largest flowers for some sparkle.

Pineapples & watermelons no.1!

2019-07-18 22:51 | 0 kommentarer

This card was made for Isabel Cristina, using her brand
new digi stamp set called Pineapples & Watermelons

You might recognize her trade mark bunnies by now!
That is one thing I love about her stamps, that the characters
keeps coming back! And these bunnies are my favorites!

As you can see, this set comes with lots of
different bunnies and sentiments, and aren´t the
little pineapple slice (far left) just the cutest!

You´ll find this digi set in Isabel´s Etsy store

I layered the bunny holding the pineapple slice with the
bunny behind the big pineapple. If you are curious
how I layer images in a Word document on my PC, please
see my blog post from a few months ago!

I colored the images and then cut them out
using my Scan n Cut. For the background
panel I blended Distress inks, Tumbled glass and
Moved lawn and added some droplets of water!

The "hello" is a die cut from the "Gallery Frame #1" die from
Hello Bluebird. I wanted to add something extra to this
card, and when looking through my drawers I found these
sequins I haven´t use in a while, they were perfect
embellishments for this happy pineapple card!

Hi there!

For today´s card I have used the Uptown Girls Snapshots
Minis stamps. I used three of the four stamps from the set,
as I couldn´t fit all four into my design.

This set to me is all about love, friendship and girl power, I love it!

I colored the images with Copic markers and the soft
shadow behind the polaroids was also colored with Copics.

I fussy cut the polaroids, the one in the middle was adhered
to the cardstock with double sided tape and on the other
two I used foam dots to get some dimension!

The sentiment is from the "Handwritten borders" set from Simon Says Stamp.

The last week of the 30 day coloring Challenge, hosted by lovely
Kathy went by as fast as the other did and its hard to believe
that it was a month ago we started coloring, some of us
coloring just a little  and some of us were able to color
more, maybe not every day or all of the 30 days

I am when it comes to this challenge an "all in" kind
of girl and managed to participate every day!

Below are my tags from last week!

Day 24, stamps: Hello Bluebird

Day 25, stamp: Stampingbella

Day 26, stamp: Stacey Yacula for MFT

Day 27, stamp: Hello Bluebird

Day 28, stamp: MFT

Day 29, stamp: Craftin Desert Divas

Day 30, stamp: Stampingbella

As I am still in pink mode a lot of the images and the tags
were colored pink! All images were colored with Copic markers
as were the shadow on the tags from day 25 and 26.

Distress Inks and Distress Oxide inks!

Tropical leafs!

2019-07-14 22:43 | 0 kommentarer

This card was made for Isabel Cristina using
the "Tropical leafs" digi stamp set.

In this set you´ll find lots of tropical flowers and different
kinds of tropical leafs, and sentiments. It´s now available in Isabel´s
Etsy store
, together with many more fantastic digi stamp sets!

For this card I layered two of the Birds of paradise flowers
and one of the Fan palm leafs, to get one image. I colored it
with Copic markers and cut it out with my Scan n Cut.

I have admired fellow crafters watercolored
backgrounds and at last I gave it a try!

I used Tim Holtz white watercolor paper and Avery Elle
Liquid Watercolor, color Aquamarine
to go with the colorful
Bird of paradise! When dry I adhered my image to the
watercolored panel using double sided tape and glue!

Relax & rejuvenate!

Hi there!

This is my second card using the ”Me time”
digi set from Isabel Cristina!

This stamp set is all about relaxing and taking care of
yourself! Taking some well deserved ”Me time”! There are so
many options and so many cute images coming with
this set, you´ll find it in Isabel´s Etsy Store.

image 0

For this card I layered the images! If you are curious
how I layer images in a Word document on my PC, please
see my blog post from a few months ago!

I just love that lady bear wearing a robe, pampering herself with a
deep cleansing face mask! How cute is that! Can you
tell where my refilled pink Copic marker RV10 just started to bleed like
crazy... just pouring out on to my paper...

But as I acted suuuuper fast I was able to save it, otherwise all my
coloring would have been gone to waste as the cheeks
on the bear in the tub was the last little detail I was going to add!
So, his cheeks are a little rosy but that is because the water is really hot!

The images were colored with Copic markers, the tile wall was
made using the ”Small brick wall stencil” from MFT, colored with
Distress Ink Tumbled Glass, using a mini Ink blending tool.

Wedding card with cats!

2019-07-06 22:56 | 0 kommentarer

I was asked to make a wedding card using Stampingbella´s
bride & groom, a wedding cake, as well as the couples two cats!

I made a similar card last fall to this same customer,
and as it turned out really great I suggested that I
added the two cats to the same layout!

All stamps I used for this card are from Stampingbella,
the bride and groom "Brett and Brenda get married", the cake is from
the " Bianca has a big cake" and the kittens are from the "Set of kitties".

I did a lot of masking on this card, Bianca was removed
and masked out behind the bride & groom in order to just get the cake
stamped, and the kittens in front and behind the dress!

All images were colored with Copics.

Me time!

2019-07-04 23:08 | 0 kommentarer

Hi there!

I have made two cards for Isabel Cristina using her new
digi stamp set "Me time". This is such a fun stamp set, I can
imagine making cards using this stamp set and treat someone
with a voucher for a spa treatment, a facial or a massage!

This is the first of the two cards!

This stamp set comes with a lot of fun accessories
like shelves, a rack with towels, rubber ducks, shampoo bottles and
much more! There are endless posibilities with these cute bears!

You´ll find it in Isabel´s Etsy store!

For this card I used the bear soaking his feet in a foot bath,
in the comfort of his own living room! I placed him sitting in his
comfy chair on a rug, I used patterned paper for wall paper,
I added a wooden floor and a skirting board, made
from a piece of white scrap paper, as well!

Images and the floor were colored with Copic markers.

It's a Mice Time to Celebrate!

2019-07-02 22:25 | 0 kommentarer

Today´s card is both sent and recieved, so
I won´t spoil any surprises for the birthday girl!

This is my first time making a tall card, I decided for a grassy
hill for the mice and a cloudy sky where the balloon could fly!

I love these super adorable mice, this set is
Stacey Yacula´s  "It's a Mice Time to Celebrate" from MFT!

The sentiment stamp is from Gummiapan.

I colored the images with Copic markers, the grass, the
clouds and the sky were colored with Distress Inks,
Mowed Lawn and Tumbled Glass.

My initial idea was to fit all the mice to the front of the
card but that didn´t work out as planned, so I placed one of the
mice and the cake inside the card as a little surprise!

My friend Lori does this all the time
on her cards and its such a nice detail!

Panda Party!

2019-06-27 16:07 | 0 kommentarer

Hello there!

Today I share my second card that I made for
Isabel Cristina using the "Panda Party" set!

These pandas are so adorable and were so much fun to work with!

image 0

There are a lot of pandas coming with this digi
stamp set
, as well as presents, gift bags,
party hats, star balloons and sentiments!

I printed the images out, colored them
and cut them out with my Scan n Cut.

I colored two pieces of cardstock with Distress inks;
Twisted citron, Evergreen bough and Mermaid lagoon.
I used one of them as the backdrop and the other piece I
die cut in three pieces using a stitched rectangle die,
I then adhered the three pandas to the three die cut pieces!

Bridge card!

2019-06-25 22:50 | 0 kommentarer

The other night I was watching a video by
Jennifer McGuire making bridge cards, I always make
regular A2 or square 6" x 6" cards, but these cards looked
stunning and quite easy to make and I had to give it a try!

Please visit Jennifer´s blog for tips and tricks, where
she shares a couple of different designs and layouts!

As I was having this Curvy Girl from Stampingbella
all colored (with Copics) and cut out, just sitting on my desk waiting
to go on a card I decided to use her for my premiere try!

I choose a pink card base for my bridge card, I cut it to
5 1/2" x 5 1/2" or 14 x14 cm. I used patterned paper and
the colored Curvy Girl, for a quick kind of CAS card.

Because of the way the card base is folded the
finished card stands pretty good on its own.

As this is not a traditional card, where you write your
message inside, you can either write your message on the back
of the card or adhere an extra panel to the back of the card.

The coolest thing about it is that you just slide the card to
one side, and it goes flat and fits perfectly in a size A2 envelope!

please see my blog post from a few months ago.

I choose soft, beautiful colors for this card, my favorite
pink Copic combo and beige/light brown!

colored with Copics, B02-B01-B00 and B000.
