Let me introduce you to Isabel Cristina´s
super cute Panda Party digi set! Today I share
one of two cards I made using this set!

As you can see below, so much cuteness in this set!

You´ll find this set and many more in Isabel´s Etsy store

For this card I layered all the images!

my PC,
please see my blog post from a few months ago.

I choose soft, beautiful colors for this card, my favorite
pink Copic combo and beige/light brown!

The blue shading around the images was also
colored with Copics, B02-B01-B00 and B000.

Wedding card, blue /gold!

2019-06-20 13:35 | 0 kommentarer

Hello crafty friend!

I made a custom order wedding card some time ago and
short after Igot an order for a similar one. This client wanted
blue or green instead of red that I used on the first card.

I combined this beautiful soft blue cardstock with soft sparkly gold!

When I was asked to color a mustache and a beard
on the groom on the first red/black/white card I was quite
nervous to ruin it, this time it wasn´t as nerv wrecking!

I colored the images with Copic markers and the soft
”background” were colored with Distress Inks.

The banner and lettering with the names were hand drawn by me!

even if it’s a few minutes, but certainly not required.

inspired to do. Some days you will have more time than
others but, it’s just about adding more time to color
and carve out a little time for you!

If you want to participate you can jump in at any time
during the challenge. If you miss a few days don’t
feel like you have to catch up.

You can read more about this fun challenge on Kathy´s blog!

I will color tags this time around too, I have purchased a
new tag die set, I like its landscape format!
This seven piece set is called "Tag along dies" from
Heffy Doodle! The tags can be made with or without a frame, as
you can see below on the tags I made for day one and two!

There are so many images and sentiments coming with this
set, great for making the most adorable cards for horse loving girls!

Making my card, I layered a couple of images,
to learn how I layer images in a Word document on my PC,
please see my blog post from a few months ago.
Then I printed the image out and colored it with Copic markers.
When colored I cut it out with my Scan n Cut.

The background was made coloring a circle with Distress inks
for the sky, the grass and the ground, I then adhered my image
to it and colored a small portion of the ground as well as the white
areas in the fence with Copics to see the grass through the fence!

Diamonds & gold!

2019-06-09 23:03 | 0 kommentarer

I was asked to make a special birthday card for a lady
turning 75, requested were the á la mode stamp from MFT
with the little lady holding a huge glass of champagne
(discontinued), leopard print, diamonds and gold!

This card was so much fun to make! I dug deep into my drawers
and boxes and found the beautiful diamond brads that I
placed in the center of the large gold/leopard print flowers.
I had totally forgotten about them andthey were perfect for this occasion!

I did fill in the outlines of the image with a pen, and apparently
I wasn´t too steady on hand when taking the photo´s...
sorry about the poor, blurry, un sharp photo quality, but I wanted
to share this card anyway. And I added grey Copic along the edges
of the image and dotted with the colorless Copic as well, for some depth...

I added golden details, the scallop edges in two of the corners and
the flowers, using a thin golden sparkly glitter paper that die
cut perfectly in my Cuttlebug, (I have other glitter papers that
are just too heavy for the Cuttlebug). For the flowers I used a punch,
I made two layers of petals for each flower, on the larger ones
I curled the golden petals slightly upwards to get a glimpse
of the leopard print ones underneath!

Image was colored with Copics, the letters were die cut,
using the QuicKutz Moxie Classic Unicase Alphabet Die Set.

To finish off the card I sprinkled some sequins
in clear and different brown colors, adhered
them to the card using Glossy accent!

Wishing you love & laughter!

Birthday card made using the cute critters from the
"North star" stamp set from Hello Bluebird.

As they all are looking up, origanally to look at
the stars at New Year´s, I thought they could look at an
orange/yellow sun or moon in the summer instead!
It looks like they are reading the sentiment, right?!!!

Images were colored with Copic markers, background
sky and sun/moon were colored with Distress inks.

The wishing you love & laughter sentiment comes with the
stamp set, the Happy Birthday is from an old (discontinued)
a´la mode stamp set from MFT.

Cutest nurse!

2019-06-02 23:04 | 0 kommentarer

Hi there crafty friends!

This cute "Oddball nurse" from Stampingbella
has been on my wish list for a long time.

Get well cards are great to have on hand so that you quickly can
send a card of encouragement for someone who is sick.
I don´t usually have get well cards ready to get in the mail
and by the time I have made the card and got to the post
office the person is doing great and back to work already!

As I am still in pink mode there was no doubt what color her uniform
would be! And I had to give her some pink eye shadow as well!

I colored her and the blue shadow with Copic markers, the
sentiment, saying Get well in Swedish is from Gummiapan.

I will ink up this cutie and make some cards in
different colors, ready to be sent out if needed!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Very special custom order!

2019-05-29 18:30 | 0 kommentarer

I got a request to make a very special birthday card...
featuring a handyman, a boat, a dog and archipelago!
I managed to tick three boxes out of four!

At the time I was asked to make this card I had
just ordered the "Hard working dudes" stamp set from
Kraftin´Kimmie, talk about coincident!

The handyman was the easy one, just stamp and color!
The archipelago and the dog took me a while to figure out,
but after some googeling I came up with a few photos as
inspiration and then started to  draw free hand.

All images were colored with Copic markers!

Only pack the necessary!

2019-05-27 22:30 | 0 kommentarer

Hi there!

This is my second card made using one of the traveling
bunnies from the "Bon Voyage" digi set from Isabel Cristina!

This digi stamp set comes with lots of cute & fun travel
related images, you´ll find it in Isabel´s Etsy store!

image 0

For this card I used the hiking bunny and a signpost,
I added the sentiments "only pack the necessary"
and "safe travels" to the signs!

I wanted my bunny to hike among rolling hill sides and I
made this little scene by using one of the border dies from
the "Landscape trio" set from Mama Elephant, to
create the path, hills and the sky. The different pieces were
colored with Distress inks and some water droplets!

I added a few clouds, from the "Photo mat" die from Avery Elle.
The patterned paper is from Lawn Fawn.

The images were colored with Copic markers.

Banner buddies!

2019-05-25 20:14 | 0 kommentarer

Today I share a card made using some of the adorable critters
from the "Banner buddies" set from Hello Bluebird!

On my wish list is some kind of collage frame die,
to add interesting details to a card without taking
away focus from the images. As I at the moment don´t
own such a die I just took one of my stitch rectangle
die and cut out a smaller piece.

I colored the background, sky and grass, using Distress inks,
leaving the smaller cut out rectangle in its place, the little detail
added to this card is basically a stictched smaller rectangle!

I saw someone on Instagram (sorry to say I can´t remember who to
give credit to) using what I belive was a cloud die to make a tree crown,
such a great idea that I had to try! I am so pleased with how it turned out!

The images were colored with Copic markers!

The sentiment stamp is from the "Brushed wishes" set from
Stampendous, perfect for a just because or birthday card!

Traveling bunnies!

2019-05-21 22:58 | 0 kommentarer

Hi there!

I have made two cards for Isabel Cristina, using one of the new
digi stamp sets called "Bon voyage"! This is one of my favorite sets
from Isabel, super adorable traveling bunnies, hiking, taking selfies
(groupies?!), and items like a map, a hat, a camera and a passport!

For my first card I choose the little group of traveling bunnies
taking a selfie! I added a photo frame made using the "Photo mat die"
from Avery Elle, some clouds and a piece of a map as backdrop!

image 0

I love this  set, these traveling bunnies are the cutest!
You´ll find them in Isabel´s Etsy store!

I have had this map laying around forever
and now was the right time to use it!

The bunnies were colored with Copics, the blue sky was Distressed Inked!

Pretty peonies!

2019-05-19 22:21 | 0 kommentarer

For today´s card I have been using one of the
images and one of the sentiments from the "Pretty peonies"
digital stamp set from Isabel Cristina.

These peonies are one image, no layering. To make this super
easy card I just printed the image out on my printer, colored
it with Copics and cut it out with my Scan n Cut. This time I choose
to cut along the out lines, not leaving any white space. I also
printed one of the sentiments to go on my card.

image 0

This pretty digi set can now be purchased in Isabel´s Etsy store,
she has designed so many cute stamp sets, if you
haven´t visited her store yet, I suggest you do!

I wanted a glow coming from behind the flowers and figured
I try a new way...I placed the flowers where I wanted them to go on
my finished card, moved the image about 5 mm towards the
black and white striped paper, traced very carefully with a pencil
along the upper contour of the flowers, to mark where I
would start to color my "glow". I started with Copic marker B02, then B01,
B00 and finally B000, from dark to light to fade out the glow!
I then applied double sided tape to attach the flowers to the panel.

Some cards requier a hard working dude!

These super cool guys are from Kraftin´Kimmie
Stamps and perfect for those
masculine cards
where a cute little bunny won´t do!

There are two different kind of dudes in this set, one
handyman with a tool box and a wrench and one office/business
dude with a take away coffee and a briefcase!

I made four CAS cards. The images were colored
with Copics, cut out with my Scan n Cut.

The rectangle backgrounds were colored with
Distress inks, the sentiment stamp, that says "Congrats"
in Swedish is from Gummiapan.

Yesterday was Isabel Cristina´s birthday and to celebrate
she has made a free digi; the cutest of birthday bunnies!

Head over to Isabel´s blog to get it, you´ll also
find other cute free digi stamps on her blog!

The bunny and balloons were colored with Copic markers,
the circles in the background were made using the
"Circles stencil" from MFT and Distress ink, Picked Raspberry.

Those balloons are so much fun, I applied a thick coat
of Glossy accent to them to make them really shiny!
