Birthday kit!

2018-07-11 11:42 | 0 kommentarer

I was celebrating my crafty friend Ellenor´s birthday, a few weeks ago,
(@e_emilsson is her name on Instagram, head over and
follow her if you don´t already do, she makes the cutest and most often CAS cards!)

I coordinated the card, the gift tag (from day 2 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge)
and I even stamped and colored a little chicken and a balloon on the envelope!
I also made a bookmark for the book I had purchased for her!

This was sooo much fun and everything turned out so pretty together!

The cute little bunnies and chicken are from the
"Party animals" set from Mama Elephant!

I laminated the bookmark, I first tried to heat laminate it but that
didn´t work, I then tried to cold laminate and that worked better
(yes, I did stamp and color two bookmarks as my first attempt didn´t work!)

but I am not super happy about he result, in order for the lamination
film to stay sealed together
I had to cut the edges quite wide.

This was the first time I stamped and colored on an envelope
and I wasn´t sure how the Copics would work on this
kind of paper, but it turned out ok!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Just because & Thank you cards!

2018-07-09 22:04 | 0 kommentarer

Hello there!

I needed two cards, a thank you and a just because card
and decided to make two identical ones, the only things to set
them apart were the sentiments and the use of the colors.

As I am in summer and vacation mode I decided to ink up
Uptown Girls Sandy (has a sombrero) from Stampingbella!

I just loooove this skinny character Sandy with the
gigant sombrero and a yummy drink in her hand!

I did use the same color combinations on both cards,
pink, orange and yellow but in different ways!

One card turned out more pink with yellow/orange details
and the other card turned out more yellow/orange with pink details!

They were colored with Copic markers!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Flower card!

Hi crafty friends!

I´m back to card making after a month of coloring almost tags only!

Only a few cards were made during Kathy´s
30 Day Coloring Challenge! This is one of them!

A friend I met through Instagram and I have our
very own Card Making Challenge!

This is so much fun, making these special cards for each other as
we both know just how appreciated they are!

This time our theme is flowers, any colors!
The stamp I have used is a background stamp, from Hero Arts, "Large Flower".
As it is a background stamp I did a lot of fussy cutting and glueing
to get the flowers placed where I wanted them!

I have colored them with Copic markers and a white gel pen!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Hello crafty friends!

The 30 Day Coloring Challenge has come to its end for
this time, and below are my tags from the last week!

Day 25, stamp: Mama Elephant

Day 26, stamp: Hello Bluebird

Day 27, stamp: Stampingbella

Day 28, stamp: Avery Elle

Day 29, stamp: Mama Elephant

Day 30, stamp: Stampingbella

All the images were colored with Copic markers
and the white dots made using a gel pen!

I have gotten lots of questions about what I`ll do with all these tags!
Some of them I will use myself, when giving gifts or flowers and some of them I will sell!

This challenge is hosted by the awesome Kathy, from The Daily Marker,
who puts a tremendous amount of work and commitment to make it all work.
Not only is she commenting on so many of the Instagram posts and that
makes it extra special of course, to have been spotted by Kathy,
she is posting her own coloring projects daily,
and you can feel her heart and soul through every day of the challenge!

This was her 10th 30 Day Coloring Challenge!!!

If you haven´t particiated in this challenge before,
and are somewhat interested I suggest you give it a try next time!
You don´t have to participate each and every day, no one is keeping tracks,
you can jump in and out as you wish!
It´s all about you carving out some much needed "me time", just to color!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

challenging coming up with design ideas as the tags are so small!

Mr & Mrs!

I have a wedding card I made a few weeks ago to share with you today!

This was a custom order and the promts to follow were;
"we need a wedding card pretty quickly and trust you to make a beautiful one!"

I love it when that happens!

My immediate thoughts for this special card was this cool digi
Bride & Groom from Kenny K,
a "polaroid photo" with the happy couples names and the date
of the ceremony and this big red heart shaped brad!

The red stitched heart I have used underneath the brad is from
the die set "Tag Along Die Collection" from Clearly Besotted.

The Bride & Groom and the grass was colored with Copic markers,
the light blue outlines was made using Copics and Distress Ink Tumbled glass!
Some Clear Wink of Stella was added to the bride´s dress for shimmer!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

I am so happy to have been able to take some "me"-time, to color every
day of the challenge so far! I enjoy coloring and finishing these little tags,
some of them takes shorter amount of time to color and some of
them takes longer, as I stamped the tags prior to the challenge start I
can pick and chose, depending of how much time I have every day.

Day 4, stamp: Mama Elephant

Day 5, stamp: Mo Manning

Day 6, stamp: Mama Elephant

Day 7, stamp: Stampingbella

Day 8, stamp: Whimsy Stamps

Day 9, stamp: Mama Elephant

Day 10, stamp: Mama Elephant

I am using Copic markers as my coloring
medium and a white gel pen for the polka dots!

Thank you for stopping by today!

After a few days delay, as I was hoping to be able to upload this
post a few days ago, here are my coloring for the first week
(three days only, Friday-Sunday)
of the Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge!

Day 1, stamp: Kraftin´Kimmie Stamps

Day 2, stamp: Mama Elephant

Day 3, stamp: Avery Elle

I have colored these tags with my Copic markers!

Love coloring and putting these little tags together as they
are managable in size and so far it has been quite easy
to fit in 20-30 minutes of me time = for coloring on a daily basis!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

The Daily Marker 30 Day Challenge!

Just a few days away now....

June 1st is the 10th anniversary of “The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge”,
hosted by the lovely super talented Kathy!

I have decided to color tags this time, as I did last time! I hope I will be
able to participate every one of the 30 days! Then I´ll end up with 30 new tags! Yay!

I have tried to dig out a variaty of stamps from my collection,
I´ll be coloring Uptown Girls, bunnies, kittens, big guys grilling and other cute images!

And as I did last time, I am going to share my colored and finished
tags at the beginning of each week. I hope you come back to view my tags!

Can´t wait to get started, this is going to be sooo much fun!
And I am so excited to see all the beautiful colorings
from my fellow participants!! Two more sleeps...

Thank you for stopping by!

This card is another personalized custom order!

My idea behind this card was soft muted colors and celebrating
60 with a glass of bubbly! The first stamp that came to mind
was Uptown Girls, "Victoria and Juliette" from
Stampingbella, so I altered the stamped image and used only Juliette (!?).

According to my research in Swedish interior design trends
this season, grey is out and "greige" is in!
That was my foundation, the card base in a soft grey/beige hue.
The name and year was printed to fit the image.

I wanted some elements to be curved as so much is rectangle
shaped and straight on this card. So this is what I did...

...I colored a piece of card stock using the same Copics as used on the dress,
punched the edges with this Fiskar´s scallop edge border punch and cut to thin strips.

But as I didn´t wan´t the holes to show...I attached the strips
closely along the edge of the rectangle piece, close enough to cover the holes!

I looked through my stash of paper and found this beautiful flower
patterned paper that was a perfect match.

Copics used for the dress: BG 93-96-99

Fuzzy bunnies!

Today I share some fuzzy bunnies!
The adorable bunny stamp is from the "Bunny Balloons" set from Whimsy Stamps.

I was so inspired by Sandy Allnock and her amazing coloring of
fuzzy bunnies and this is my take on the fuzzy bunny technique!

The bunnies are colored with warm grey Copic markers
and a grey pencil for the hair.

The image is stamped with grey ink to get that soft look!

I wanted to try this technique and I think the bunnies turned out
super cute but I don´t feel this is someting I´ll do very often,
as for me it was a bit time consuming drawing all these tiny hairs!

Copics used for the bunnies: W 1-2-3

Sorry for being MIA for the last week and a half, I am on vacation having no access
to my craft supplies, this card was made just before leaving!

This card was a special, custom order, a little bit of a challenge,
due to a lot of masking and fussy cutting but so much fun to make!

The prompts to follow were: colors black and yellow, cats and hearts!

I love to make these ”wooden” signs to make cards personalized!

The recipient of the card is a huge fan of the Swedish team AIK and
this little gang of cats are supporters to the team, hence
the yellow and black scarves and the hat!

The cat stamp is from the ”BB Cool Cat” set from My Favorite Things,
they were colored with Copic markers, the wooden sign was also colored
with Copic markers, the rays in the background was made using
Distress ink and the ”Sun Ray” stencil also from MFT. The scarves were
hand drawn and carefully fussy cut to fit the images!

Thank you so much for stoppning by!

Thank you Fairy card!

For today´s card I have used yet another adorable little fairy!
These little fairies are so stinkin´ cute and they all melt my heart!

This is "Fairy and Puppy" from Whimsy Stamps.
They are so much fun to color and those wings are
perfect for adding lots of glitter!

I am still working my way through the Kit and Clowder Clothing Class,
I know I need to focus on the last few lessons and practice,
practice, practice, but I am so happy with what I have learnt so far!

A year ago I didn´t know how to color this skirt to make
it this puffy with beautiful folds and pleats.

If you feel you need to improve on your coloring skills
(both alcohol markers and colored pencils) or just want
to learn new techniques, I really recommend taking an online
class from Alyce´s Kit and Clowder, she is an
amazing teacher and sweet person!

Images are colored with Copic markers, and Stickles are added to her wings!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
