Hoppy halloween!

2019-10-11 18:53 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

Today´s card was made for Isabel Cristina
using the "Hoppy Halloween 2019" digi stamp set!

2019-10-11:1

How adorable are the bunnies wearing Star Wars costumes!

You´ll find this stamp set in Isabel´s Etsy store! There are
quite a few different themes in this stamp set, you could
make so many different cards as there are pirates, wizards,
super heroes and the Star Wars characters I used on my card!

Hoppy Halloween 2019 IsabelCristinaStamps image 0

I couldn´t resist coloring the Darth Vader costume pink!

2019-10-11:2

I colored the images with Copic markers and I applied Glossy
accent to the Darth Vader head piece and to the little robot!

2019-10-11:3

I had to make a galaxy background, my first ever, blending Distress inks,
Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Mermaid Lagoon and Black Soot.

I recently purchased Nuvo Sparkle Spray and this was
the perfect card to try them! I added small droplets of
colors Marine Mist, Morning Fog and Blush Burst to my galaxy.

City Christmas greetings!

2019-10-09 12:00 | 0 kommentarer

Hi there!

I have been thinking about ways to use this city skyline
stamp from Gummiapan. One of my ideas was to combine it with
one of the penguins from the "Cool penguins" set by Mama Elephant.

2019-10-09:3

The cute little penguin is on its way to a dear friend
trying his best not to drop any of the Christmas gifts
he´s carrying, as he is rushing through the park
with a beautiful city skyline in the background!

2019-10-09:1

I stamped the penguin, masked it to stamp the skyline.
I colored the images with Copic markers. I then stamped
a mask for the skyline and heat embossed a bunch
of stars in the upper right handside corner of my panel.
Coloring the sky blending Distress inks
Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean.

2019-10-09:2

The sentiment is from the "Christmas is
coming" stamp set by Hello Bluebird!

Christmas market!

Hello!

This is my third card using the ”Baby it´s cold outside”
digi stamp set,
made for Isabel Cristina.

2019-10-06:4

I have said it before but I´ll say it again… I think
Isabel´s bunnies are so cute...and these Holiday bunnies
are the cutest ever! Head over to Isabel´s Etsy store,
where you´ll find this digi stamp set and many more!

Baby its cold outside IsabelCristinaStamps image 0

For this card one of the bunnies and his little mouse
friend are visiting the local Christmas market!

2019-10-06:1

I have layered all the images to one on this card, if you
are curious to find out how I layer images in a Word document
on my PC, please see my blog post from a while back!

2019-10-06:3

I used the stall as a base for this scene, it took me a
little while to place all the images where I wanted them!
I colored the images with Copic markers.
The sky was colored with Distress Inks.
The snow was made using the "Falling Snow stencil by
Simon Says Stamp, white embossing powder and a heat embossing tool.

2019-10-06:2

I used one of the stitched border dies from the
"Landscape trio" die set by mama Elephant to
make the snow banks. I applied Glossy Accent to all
the light bulbs, the snow globes, the bottles
and the Christmas tree ornaments.

Guest Designer The Flower Challenge!

2019-10-04 19:59 | 5 kommentarer

Hello!

I am so excited to be guest Designer with The Flower Challenge
for the month of October, thanks for having me Aileen!

TFChallenge#37 (002)

The theme for this month is CAS.

2019-10-04:1

For this card I used the ”Pretty Posies” stamp set by
CAS-UAL Fridays. I love these ”doodle” flowers!
I added some extra dot and lines to some of the
petals, channeling my inner Kathy Raccosin!
Michele from CAS-UAL Fridays was very kind and
gave us all some of her stamps to use on our cards!

2019-10-04:3

I wanted to add something more, just a little detail
even though I know CAS means lots of white space and I
decided to splash some droplets of liquid watercolor to my
stitched, die cut panel. The orange color is ”Mimosa” by Avery Elle.

2019-10-04:2
I colored the flower and the leaves with Copic markers,
cutting the pieces out with my Scan N Cut and adhered them on
to the panel using double sided tape. To finish my card I
stamped the sentiment at the top of the panel.

Baby it´s cold outside!

 Hello!

This is my second card using the new
”Baby it´s cold outside” digi stamp set for Isabel Cristina!

2019-10-03:4

You´ll find this super adorable set in Isabel´s Etsy store!

Baby its cold outside IsabelCristinaStamps image 0

For this card my main focus was the lamp post and I
placed the two bunnies holding hands (paws!) in front of it!

I started by heat embossing a bunch of golden stars in the upper
left corner of my stitched die cut panel, using the ”Confetti”
stencil by Heidi Swapp.
That stencil is so useful as it has
stars, hearts
and falling snow all in the same stencil.

2019-10-03:1

I used my favorite color combo at the moment for blending
the Distress inked sky, Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmalade and
Candied Apple. I love to use non traditional colors for Christmas cards!

2019-10-03:3
I layered the bunnies and the lamp post, if you are
curious
how I layer images in a Word document on my PC,
please
see my blog post from a few months ago!

2019-10-03:2

The images were colored with Copic markers.
I cut them out using my Scan N Cut, choosing a 1 mm white egde.
I printed out the sentiment and used a cloud border die from the
”Landscape trio” by Mama Elephant to make a snow bank and a
stitched rectangle die to match the background panel.

I finished off the card by adhering the images to the
panel by using double sided tape, and I applied some
Glossy Accent to the bulb to make it shiny!

Meowy Christmas!

Hello!

Today I share my first Christmas card made for Isabel Cristina!

2019-09-24:3

This digi stamp set called "Christmas cats" comes with so
many adorable kittens
, Christmas ornaments, boxes and
sentiments! It is now available in Isabel´s Etsy store!

Christmas cats IsabelCristinaStamps image 0

I often layer several images when playing with
Isabels stamp sets, but the kittens I used for this
card comes that way, no layering this time!

2019-09-24:1

The kittens were colored with Copic markers.
I colored the background panel with Distress inks, using
Picked Raspberry, Spiced Marmelade and Candied Apple,
I then splashed some droplets of water on to it!

2019-09-24:2

The fluffy cloud/snow was made using the cloud border
die from the "Landscape trio" die set from Mama Elephant.

Just because fall card!

2019-09-18 20:15 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

I have a new favorite color combo, dark pink/orange/yellow!

2019-09-18:4

For today´s card I used the "Curvy girl with a cocktail" from
Stampingbella.
I colored her dress red-ish/brown, with Copic
markers. The pink/orange/yellow background panel was
colored with
Distress inks, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral,
Spiced Marmalade and Scattered Straw blended with a mini
ink blending tool and finished off with some droplets of water.

2019-09-18:1

For the frame and background I used "Gallery frame #2" die
from Hello Bluebird. I decided to use patterned paper and die
cut this pretty striped paper using the "Gallery frame #2"
die again to get the inner frame. That means I have the outer
scalloped frame saved for a later project!

2019-09-18:3

The die cut hello is from the "Gallery frame #1" die, also from
Hello Bluebird.
I die cut two pieces, adhering the black
slightly to the side as a shadow to the white piece.

Fall tag!

2019-09-16 23:10 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

Fall season is here and today I share a tag I made for
Isabel Cristina using the beautiful maple leaf from the
”Fall friends” digi stamp set. I just love the heart!

PicsArt_09-15-11.08.01

There are so many cute stamps in this set,
perfect for fall cards, invitations and tags!
This set is available in Isabel´s Etsy store.

Fall friends IsabelCristinaStamps image 0

I resized the leaf to fit my tag, and then printed it out.
The die I used is from the”Tag along” tag die collection
set by Clearly Besotted. I colored both the leaf and the
background with Copic markers. I used a black fine line
marker for the tiny dots on the leaf. I applied Glossy
Accents to the heart to make it pop and shine!

2019-09-16:2

The die cut thanks is from the ”Gallery frame #2” by
Hello Bluebird. I die cut two pieces, adhering the black
slightly to the side as a shadow to the pink. I die cut the
hole reinforcer out of black cardstock as well to got with the
black shadow of the ”thanks”. I always make my
tags double, with a separate tag to write on!

2019-09-16:3

As always, I am so grateful for you visiting my blog!

Thinking of you!

2019-09-10 10:47 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

Using my favorite Hello Bluebird raccoon for this
Thinking-of-you card! This adorable little guy is from the
"Fly a kite" stamp set, the little bird and the flowers are from
the "Banner buddies" set, also from Hello Bluebird.

2019-09-10:4

The background is a rough around the edges watercolor circle!
I was inspired by Lisa´s super cute penguin card and
this was the perfect card to give it a try!

2019-09-10:1

I cut out a circle from a piece of scrap paper as a mask,
then applying water with a brush to my watercolor paper,
starting with the "ground", going a little outside the "lines"
to get that rough, uneven look! I used Liquid watercolor from
Avery Elle, color Celery, for the grass and Aquamarine
for the sky and just dripped a few drops into
the wet area. I love how the color just spreads and stays
where the paper is wet! Still a newbie to the world of
watercolors and still fascinated by these small things!

After letting it dry for a few minutes I once
again placed my circle mask over my panel
continuing with the blue sky part of my circle.

2019-09-10:3

The images were colored with Copic markers, the sentiment
stamp is from the "Fancy sayings" set by Clearly Besotted!

2019-09-10:2

I also added a few grains of Nuvo Shimmer
Powder, color Blue Blitz to the sky, for some
shimmer, but it is hard to see in the photo.

Hello!

This birthday card was made mixing two stamp set from
Hello Bluebird, the "Banner buddies" and the "Fly a kite" set!
The flag stamp is from Gummiapan.

2019-09-09:4

The images were colored with Copic markers, I usually
use my Scan n Cut for cutting but I purchased the
coordinating dies to both stamp sets and the flags too and
ran them quick and easy trough my Cuttlebug!

2019-09-09:1

The frame die I used for my card is also from Hello
Bluebird, "Gallery frame #1". My first thought was to let the
card be the size of the frame (A2), but I felt something was
missing and I placed my panel on a white cardbase
and that white edge was what was missing! The finished
card is close to A7 size, just slightly smaller!

2019-09-09:3

To create my hill scene I used one of the stitched border
dies from the "Landscape trio" die set by Mama Elphant.
Distress ink Mowed Lawn was used for coloring the hill
and Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean was used for the sky!
I splashed droplets of water on the Distress inked pieces!

Safe travels!

2019-09-05 13:19 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

I colored these travel bunnies a while ago, they have
been sitting on my desk patiently waiting to go on a card!

2019-09-05:3

They are from the fun and adorable
"Bon Voyage" digi stamp set from Isabel Cristina!

You´ll find it in Isabel´s Etsy store!

Bon voyage IsabelCristinaStamps image 0

I layered several images on this card. If you are
curious
how I layer images in a Word document on my PC,
please
see my blog post from a few months ago!

2019-09-05:1

The images were colored with Copic markers and then run
through my Scan n Cut. I choose to use two of the sentiments from
the set for this card, I placed them in the upper left corner to give
enough space for my images to fit the stitched die cut panel.

2019-09-05:4

As backdrop I used a city map,
I knew it would come to good use some day!

I applied some Glossy accents to the sun glasses!

Just for you!

2019-09-01 23:02 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

I recieved a very beautiful card a few weeks
ago from a crafty friend and she also sent
me a floral stamp set!

I have finally inked up those pretty flowers!

2019-09-01:1

The flowers are from the "Daisy Thanks" set
by Stampendous and the sentiment stamp is from the
"Fancy Sayings" set from Clearly Besotted.

2019-09-01:3

I colored the images and the background with Copic markers.

2019-09-01:4

I masked that area on the stems of the
flowers with a piece of scrap printer paper
for the sentiment to be stamped there.

”Fall friends” digi stamp set! Now available in Isabel´s Etsy store!

Fall friends IsabelCristinaStamps image 1

Purchasing a set of Isabel´s digi stamps is such value for
money! There are so many pro´s working with digi stamps.

larger to fit your special project!

Bildresultat för punkt rosa You don´t have to wait for your stamps to be shipped, going
through customs and finally be deliverd by the mail carrier
weeks later as you instant
download them, when paid!

Bildresultat för punkt rosa No extra fee´s like shipping, customs, etc!

Bildresultat för punkt rosa They make great gifts too!

2019-08-27:1

I layered several of the images on this card. If you are
curious
how I layer images in a Word document on my PC,
please
see my blog post from a few months ago!

2019-08-27:3

When colored (with Copic markers) I ran my image
through my Scan n Cut choosing a 1 mm white edge,
I die cut the lower part of the image
using a stitched border rectangle and my Cuttlebug.

2019-08-27:2

I printed the sentiment on a separate piece of cardstock,
die cut it using the same stitched rectangle die, and mounted
the image piece to the sentiment piece. I matched the
colors of my fall scene with a striped paper, adhered
directly on the card base. I adhered my panel with the fall scene
and the sentiment on foam dots for some dimension to the cardbase!

Hello!

#isupportdesignnotcrime

It is such an important topic, to support the designers and
companies who creates all these amazing stamps, stencils,
dies etc that you love. Many of our favorite stamp companies are
affected by stolen designs. Take a stand and support the
designers and (often) small companies that brings us joy with
their designs and don´t support the thieves, don´t buy stolen designs.

Great initiative by @biiirka

2019-08-25:7

For today´s cards I have used a stamp from one
of my favorite companies, "Curvy girl loves coffee"
from Stampingbella to make two get well cards!

2019-08-25:2

The sentiment that comes with this stamp says
"Life happens. Coffee helps", but I thought she could help
brighten someone´s day, someone who is not feeling well too!
Don´t you just love her sleeping mask, shirt and socks!!!

2019-08-25:3

The Swedish get well sentiment stamp is from Gummiapan.

2019-08-25:6

I colored these gorgeous girls with Copic markers, added polka
dots to their shirts using a white gel pen. The background shading
and ground were also colored with Copic markers.
