Hi!

I have been doing my happy dance over here since last week when I was chosen as the Featured Stamper at the Color Throwdown Challenge! Yay!!!  I am so happy and excited to join the team this week!

Here´s the color palette for this week´s challenge!

Color swatch

Here´s my blinkie!

Blinkie

And here is my card!

2016-09-20:5

The colors to use are purple, magenta, poppy red, orange, and yellow!

2016-09-20:2

For this card I have used my go-to stamp when making happy and colorful cards, "Suzette" from Kraftin´Kimmie Stamps! As background I have used the "Geometric grid" stencil from My Favorite Things with Distress ink from Ranger. The image is colored with Copic markers.

2016-09-20:1

I wanted some more color on this card, so I decided to go for the colors I used on the image and just drew stripes (irregular!) on a piece of cardstock and cut it into pieces to put on both sides of the image!

A day at the beach, pt 2!

2016-09-19 11:18 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

This is another card I made earlier, during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge back in July. I only  uploaded it on Instagram, but not on the blog, so here is the full card!

2016-09-19:2

A very CAS one layer card, love the stripes! They kind of add something special to a clean & simple card. It really is a fast and easy way to add some wow and interest!

2016-09-19:1

This old (in stamp being retired!!!) beauty, "Florence" by Moonlight Whisper from Kraftin´Kimmie Stamps is one of my happy, seize the day-summer stamps!

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello!

This is a card I made earlier this summer, during the 30 Day Coloring Challenge back in July. I uploaded a picture of it on Instagram so you may recognize it from there, but not on my blog, so here it is!

2016-09-17:2

For this card I made a simple background using Distress Ink from Ranger, on the part that is supposed to be water I added a coat of Wink of Stella to make it shimmer!

2016-09-17:1

This image, Uptown Girl "Sandy" from Stampingbella is colored with Copic markers. I added a coat of Glossy accents to her sun glasses!

2016-09-17:3

I finished it off with a few sequins and a hint of patterned paper!

Thanks for stopping by!

Bellarific Friday & Brick wall!

2016-09-15 19:53 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

This is my entry for this week´s Bellarific Friday over at Stampingbella! The challenge for this week is to create your own background, and I couldn´t resist playing along, as that meant I could play with one of my new stencils. I can´t believe it took me so long to finally understand how much fun they are and the results and different ways to use them are...I guess that list can be quite long! Anyway...love stencils!!!

2016-09-15:3

I thought I would color this brick wall in a non traditional brick wall color! So I went with one of my favorite colors...pink!

2016-09-15:2

For this card I used these Uptown cuties "Victoria and Juliette" from Stampingbella.

2016-09-15:4

The stencil "Small brick wall" is from My Favorite Things, and I colored it using Distress Ink from Ranger. The image is colored with Copic markers!

Freshly made sending hugs card!

2016-09-11 19:10 | 1 kommentarer

Hello!

This week I am also playing along in the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge!

For this card I just had to use my newest, cutest, most adorable set of stamps...

2016-09-11:3

...  "Woodland Wonders" from Avery Elle. Super cute, can´t get enough of them...

2016-09-11:1

...and my newest die, Die-namics Stitched Circle Scallop Frames, from My Favorite Things. What I love about this die is that it´s a frame with the scallops turning inwards!

2016-09-11:4

I altered the banner by making it longer to fit the sketch , and by doing so I was able to use both the "sending hugs" and the "happy wishes" stamps. Images colored with Copic markers, and the background is made with Distress ink from Ranger.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Santa´s little Elf!

2016-09-09 19:25 | 2 kommentarer

Hello!

I am playing along in this week´s Color Throwdown Challenge!

When I saw the selected colors to be used I immediately thought of this little elf cutie!

2016-09-09:1

So I made another early Christmas card! I had no idea I was in such a Holiday spirit!

2016-09-09:5

This little guy is colored with Copic markers, to the Christmas ornament I applied a coat of Glossy accents.

2016-09-09:2

For the background I have used a Heidi Swapp stencil (love stencils!!!) and Distress Ink from Ranger. The black and white stripes is tape, also Heidi Swapp, Marquee Love.

2016-09-09:4

And the little elfie is from the clear stamp set "BB Santa´s Elves" from My Favorite Things!

Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by today!

First Christmas card for 2016!

2016-09-07 13:42 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

First Christmas card for 2016 is finished!

2016-09-07:3

I really wanted to give heat embossing and watercoloring a go and the other night (!) I saw a beautiful card on Instagram, featuring a gold embossed poinsettia, that inspired me.

2016-09-07:1

So I heat embossed my poinsettia stamp from Penny Black using gold embossing powder from Ranger. And that alone looked so elegant! Even without color!

2016-09-07:2

I dusted of my Inktense pencils, I can´t even remeber the last time I used them for a project.

2016-09-07:4

I finished the card with glittery gold trimmings, a sentiment heat embossed with gold and some sequins!

Thank you for stopping by today!

Bride & Groom!

2016-09-05 23:23 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

A little while back I was asked to make a card for a wedding. Red, pink, fuchsia, white, silver and hearts were the requests for this particular card.

2016-09-05:2

Almost a year ago I saw this stencil from Heidi Swapp with hearts, stars and falling snow , all-in-one, called "Confetti", but when I was ready to order it it was out of stock. A few months ago when I was ordering some goodies from Simon Says Stamp it was back in stock and I have been waiting for a card to use it on!

2016-09-05:1

The Bride & Groom was purchased years ago and I have no idea what the brand of that stamp is...I like it as it is very laid back!

These bright and happy colors inspired me to make this card...

2016-08-25:2

...a CAS one, featuring sweet Uptown Girl "Molly makes a detour", from Stampingbella.

2016-08-25:1

Molly and her suitcases are colored with Copic markers!

Sunrise at the beach!

2016-08-22 23:46 | 1 kommentarer

Hello!

I have a lot of colored images from the 30 Day Coloring Challenge, sitting on my desk just waiting for me to make pretty cards! This is one of them! I love this happy stamp "Beachy Keen", by Moonlight Whisper and Kraftin´Kimmie Stamps.

2016-08-23:2

As I didn´t have a stencil for the rays of sun, I had to make my own by using masking paper. Below you can see that the stamped image is still covered with masking paper, but I have just removed the masking paper from the rays of sun.

2016-08-23:5

This is the best part when masking an image, when you get to peel of the masking paper, and the image/images reveales itself underneath!

2016-08-23:4

As it is nearly impossible to put the masking paper straight onto the image below, some final touches may be needed, to color the gaps!

2016-08-23:3

The image is colored with Copic markers, as is the beach. I used Distress Ink for the rays of sun, and finished the card with some sequins and polka dots on her bikini!

Hello!

It took a lot of masking, making this card! And planning, where to put which animal...I wanted to stack these little critters on top of each other, for a fun card!

2016-08-15:2

I started out with stamping all of them on printer paper and cut them out one by one, not very  detailed or careful, I needed the pieces just to know where to put them, which one should be placed in front or behind of each other.

2016-08-15:3

When having decide where everyone should be placed I started stamping and stamped a mask at the same time, then I started building my stacks! I colored them with Copic Markers!

2016-08-15:4

I used several stamp sets for this card;

* The little birdie, the owl, the raccoon and the rabbit are from "Woodland Wonders" by Avery Elle.

* The flamingos are from "Flamingo Together" by Lawn Fawn.

* The giraffe, the zebra, the croc and the camel are from "Zoo Crew" by Paper Smooches.

* The penguins are from "Arctic Penguins" by Mama Elephant.

* The lizzard, I don´t know either the name or brand, purchased at Michael´s  ages ago!

*And the sentiment stamp is from the "Big Greetings" set by Avery Elle.

Hello!

This week I am playing along in the Bellarific challenge over on Stampingbella´s blog! And for this week´s challenge there is a sketch to follow.

MOJOBELLA SKETCH CHALLENGE- BELLARIFIC FRIDAY AUGUST 12th 2016

And this is my card...

2016-08-10:2

For this card I have used Uptown girl Jayden (loves to journal), from Stampingbella. The hello stamp is from the clear stamp set "Big greetings", by Avery Elle. So happy I got this set of sentiment stamps, they are big and I love the font!

2016-08-10:1

Jayden is colored with Copic markers. And on this card I haven´t used a simple drop of glitter or glitter glue!

Freshly made feather card!

2016-08-05 19:34 | 2 kommentarer

Hello!

Today I have been inking up and coloring a stamp that I haven´t used in forever! But I like her a lot and here she is, "Vivienne", by Moonlight Whisper and Kraftin´Kimmie Stamps!

2016-08-05:2

I am playing along in this week´s Freshly Made Sketches challenge, and the sketch to follow is this...

...and I thought these two lovely ladies would be perfect for this card!

2016-08-05:1

I have been using a white gel pen for the tiny polka dots on their bathing suits (?!) and on the peacock feathers. I wanted to make a one layer card and drew that banner directly on the cardstock, I have never tried that before but it turned out really good and it´s a keeper to use on other projects! And for the embellishment, three green sequins! I also added some Wink of Stella to the feathers but unfortunately it doesn´t show well in the photos.

2016-08-05:3

The images and the banner are colored with Copic markers!

Get well card!

2016-08-02 11:29 | 0 kommentarer

Hello!

This is one of the images I have been coloring during the 30 day coloring challenge, hosted by lovely Kathy! After these thirty days I have a lot of colored images ready to go on cards! Please go to my Instagram account for more inspiration and to see what I have been working on!

2016-08-02:2

For this get well/feel better card I used this poor little reindeer, this reindeer stamp is perfect for anyone who needs some cheering up when ill!

2016-08-02:1

I wanted to make a background using the band aid on his back and I couldn´t decide if I just wanted a few or a lot of them and I finally went for a lot! I took me quite some time to cut them all out though! I also wanted the band aids to shimmer and added some clear Wink of Stella to them! I also made polka dots on the scarf and his (her?) cast, using a white gel pen.

2016-08-02:3

Images colored with Copic markers, the stamp is from Stämpelgården!
